Robot-friendly cover for 24-deepwell MTPs
- CR2224- For robotic handling of all 24-deepwell MTPs
- Holes with a 2.5mm diameter
- Suitable for shorter cultivations (1-5 days)
- Exchange of headspace air: 2.5ml / minute
- Evaporation rate (30ºC, 50% humidity): 50 µl/well/day
The CR2224 is the robot friendly sandwich cover used for 24-deepwell MTPs. For longer cultivations, the CR2224a cover can be considered to limit evaporation even further. For more information about our robot-friendly CR22xx series, please refer to the page with background information or fill in below contact form.
Other characteristics of the covers:
- Ultra flat and light weight cover
- Autoclavable and thus reusable many times
- The cover has a blue and green filter to prevent airborne contamination
- The design of the rubber seal prevents rattling when shaking in unclamped conditions
Want to verify our robot friendly covers in a manual workflow before moving to robotic? Please do note that the covers are only compatible with universal clamps (such as CR1801h) and are not compatible with deepwell MTP clamps such as CR1700.
