The CR1424hd plate is a reusable plate, treated by Enzyscreen, and is typically used in combination with covers CR1224h/CR1224i and clamp CR1801h
Other characteristics of the plates:
- Square wells of 17x17 mm, 89 mm deep with a pyramid bottom for easy centrifugation
- Volume per well: 25 ml
- Top surface: flattened/polished by Enzyscreen
- Detoxified (removal of leachables) by Enzyscreen in 0.1 M NaOH and HCl respectively (at least 24 hours each)
- This plate has a long "track record" for cultivation purposes: has been used by many research groups for many years (both for microbial strains and animal cells)
